Opportunities at the Hillingdon Narrowboat Association

located in Harefield next to the beautiful canal.

We are an entirely voluntary led organisation and would love you to join us. We operate several community canal boats from our peaceful location for use by local residents and community groups of all ages, at a cost they can afford.

​Volunteering is a great way to get active and meet new people, all against the backdrop of Harefield’s stunning canals and rivers.  With your help we can help wildlife thrive, and people find health, happiness and wellbeing.

 Do you have the skills set?

• Everyone has something to offer.
• We have volunteers from age 14 to 90.
• Jobs range from marketing to finance from painting to electrics and everything in between. Even steering the boats and hosting trips if that is something you wanted to do.

Do you have the time?

Please give us as little or as much time as you want.  Every hour our volunteers give is appreciated, from the simplest task.
